Dr Anthi Andronikou's monograph wins the 鈥淢aria S. Theocharis Award鈥�
Dr Anthi Andronikou’s monograph Italy, Cyprus, and Artistic Exchange in the Medieval Mediterranean (Cambridge University Press, 2022) has won the “Maria S. Theocharis Award”, a biennial international prize granted by CHAE (Christian and Archaeological Society), Greece’s oldest and most prestigious Society for Byzantine Studies. Established by the Periklis S. Theocharis Foundation, this international award offers €2,000 for the best scholarly work in the field of Byzantine and post-Byzantine art. The Award Committee and the Board of the CHAE unanimously decided to offer the award to the book, “an innovative and significant study that makes a major contribution to the critical analysis of art and cultural exchanges in 鈥嬧�媡he medieval Mediterranean.”
