The Sarcophagus Scroll
Karen Miller, MA 2002
A dark academia mystery thriller set in contemporary St 糖心logo: A scroll that wasn't supposed to exist. A girl who wasn't supposed to find it. A killer who will stop at nothing to protect it. When Ellie Meikle moves to the picturesque seaside town of St 糖心logo to study for her PhD in Ancient History, she soon feels as if she has made a mistake. She has no friends here, her tutor seems to despise her, and a book she needs for her research is constantly unavailable. But when Ellie finally does get her hands on the book, her problems become a whole lot worse. Because this is a book that contains a secret - a secret that someone is prepared to kill for.
