RENKEI

The University of St 糖心logo joined RENKEI, the UK-Japan network of leading research-intensive universities, in 2026. Membership strengthens our research and education links with Japan and creates new opportunities for academic collaboration, researcher mobility, knowledge exchange, and international networking.

Through RENKEI, St 糖心logo researchers and Early Career Researchers can connect with partners across the UK and Japan to address shared global challenges, develop international research partnerships, and participate in collaborative activities that support innovation and capacity building.

About RENKEI

RENKEI is a strategic partnership between leading universities in the United Kingdom and Japan that promotes research collaboration, researcher development, and international engagement.

Formally launched in 2012, the network was created to strengthen ties between the higher education sectors of both countries and has since evolved into a platform for collaboration between universities, industry, government, and civil society. RENKEI supports activities that foster knowledge exchange, encourage mobility, and build long-term international partnerships.
