I am a听听at the听.
My听research听is focused on听volcanic hazards听and听resources. I use both field and lab approaches to understand the processes that drive magmatic systems, and how we can safely and sustainably develop the resources they offer.
I lead the听St 糖心logo Volcanic Eruptions and Impacts (StA-VEI) Group听and the international working group听听(funded by听).
I am听passionate听about听understanding processes that trigger large volcanic events, and their听consequences for climate and society.听Using the knowledge from the past we can better prepare society for future eruptions.
I am always interested in supporting听postgraduate students and postdoc fellowships听to work on volcanism and magmatic processes. For more information please email me or take a look at our听School website for current positions.
